Celebrating Payors, Health Plans, Value-Based Entities, and Healthcare Innovators Transforming Patient Care through MIH/CP

ATLANTA, GA., March 10, 2026 – The National Association of Mobile Integrated Healthcare Providers (NAMIHP) today announces the recipients of the 2026 NAMIHP Payor Champion Awards, recognizing leading payors and innovators in advancing Mobile Integrated Healthcare (MIH) and Community Paramedicine (CP) reimbursement and partnerships.
The Payor Champion Awards celebrate health plans, accountable care organizations, value-based providers, and healthcare innovators demonstrating exceptional support of MIH/CP care models to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the community.
“Payors play an essential role in shaping the future health of Americans,” said Victoria Reinhartz, Executive Director at NAMIHP. “These Champions are moving healthcare forward by recognizing the value of mobile integrated health and implementing innovative payment models, research, and cost-effective MIH/CP delivery models.”
The announcement is timely, amidst the growing national momentum to strengthen community-based healthcare infrastructure, including expanded federal and state investments in rural health transformation and value-based care initiatives. These efforts increasingly recognize the role of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) clinicians and MIH/CP teams in filling healthcare gaps, augmenting existing services and expanding access to acute care intervention, post-discharge follow-up, preventative care, and chronic disease management.
