May 12, 2025 – [Atlanta, GA] – The National Association of Mobile Integrated Healthcare Providers (NAMIHP) announces the appointment of four outstanding professionals to its Board of Directors. Their leadership, innovation, and commitment to community-based care reflect the very mission of NAMIHP to improve patient outcomes and strengthen healthcare systems through integrated, local solutions.
Appointed Board Members:
Jane Bedford
Community Paramedic Section Administrator, Florida Department of Health
With nearly five decades in EMS, Jane Bedford leads Florida’s community paramedicine strategy at the Department of Health, focusing on evidence-based models that reduce the cost of care and improve patient access through statewide program development. Her deep experience will grow NAMIHP’s impact on policy-driven, effective, state-wide MIH initiatives.
Jennifer Knight, CP-C, CCHW
Community Paramedic, Greene County Ambulance Service
As a rural Indiana MIH program manager in pursuit of her MPH, Jennifer brings a unique mix of EMS, public health, and multi-county rural health models. Her strong communication skills and media experience will enhance NAMIHP’s efforts in public awareness, policy advocacy, and community engagement around mobile integrated health.
Dixon Marlow
Chief Executive Officer, Amerimed
With decades of EMS leadership and a track record of building multi-state MIH operations, Dixon brings a visionary approach to mobile integrated healthcare. His strategic insight and active support have been instrumental to NAMIHP’s growth, helping shape sustainable, high-impact growth for MIH and NAMIHP nationwide.
Shelby VanDerMoere, EMT, CCHW
Mobile Integrated Health Program Manager, Bloomington Fire Department
Shelby leads an award-winning MIH team in Bloomington, delivering compassionate, hands-on care before and after 911 calls and championing local mental health, dementia, and infant safety efforts. Her community-rooted work will influence how NAMIHP supports community-centered approaches, local engagement and grassroots innovation in mobile integrated health.
The newly appointed Board Members further expand the knowledge and capabilities of NAMIHP, as the organization continues in its’ mission of advancing MIH, fostering a connected healthcare system where everyone receives the care they need.
These leaders exemplify the spirit of innovation, collaboration, and compassion that defines Mobile Integrated Health nationally. As NAMIHP continues to build national impact, we invite the MIH community to participate in shaping the future of the MIH through the 2025 Future of MIH Survey.
